Goleudy launches Pop Up Hub in response to lockdown

7 July 2020

Following lockdown in late March 2020, Goleudy took the difficult decision to close all non-residential our services to clients and instead provide support remotely.

During lock down our staff continued to support clients over the phone, using video sessions, text messages and door step welfare checks - whilst adhering to our social distancing policy.

In May 2020, in response to client need we set up a Pop Up Hub by repurposing our Swansea office’s ground floor area to facilitate 121 sessions for clients whilst maintaining CV19 safety measures.

Our staff from Connect, Solution Focus Service, Homeless Prevention and Community Housing have been available for sessions at client’s request.

Many clients have taken up this opportunity to meet staff in person, receive critical support interventions and have that human contact during what has been a very lonely time.
